"Where is my pendant? Did I misplace it or was it stolen?"
After spending some time looking unsuccessfully for her rose quartz pendant, this client started wondering if she had simply misplaced it, or if her cleaning lady had stolen it. She asked: Where is my pendant? Did I misplace it or was it stolen by my cleaner?
In this chart, the missing pendant is signified by Mercury. The cleaning lady is signified by Saturn. Mercury has recently separated from an aspect with Saturn, which could be a testimony of theft. However, if the pendant had been stolen by the cleaner, it is most likely that in the chart we would have found Mercury just inside the 6th house, showing that the pendant is with the cleaner.
If the client misplaced it, where is it?
Mercury is in a place in the chart that signifies her bedroom and/or her husband's place in the home. It is also in the water sign of Pisces, a testimony that the pendant is with something related to water, and is conjunct Neptune, which signifies the turbulent waters of the ocean. Being in Pisces shows that the pendant is most likely inside something, whether it is a drawer, a box, a bag, etc.
Will the client find it?
In this chart, Mercury is also the significator of the querent. However, because it is already busy signifying the pendant, we can take the Moon to signify the querent. The Moon is on its way to aspect Mercury, bringing client and pendant together, but before this happens, the Moon bumps into Saturn. The only way the client can find the pendant, is by removing the prohibition by Saturn.
What happened?
I told the querent that the cleaning lady didn't steal the pendant, and suggested that she had a very diplomatic word with her and ask her if by any chance she had put it in another place in the house.
After the client got my answer, she decided to look again before talking to the cleaning lady.
She found the pendant in her bedroom, inside a small bag she always takes to the beach.
It was not until she removed the prohibition from Saturn that she found the pendant: the thought that the cleaner had taken it was preventing her from looking for it herself.
