"Will the thief come back?"

 

The client contacted me because her lawn-mower had been stolen and she was afraid the thief would return to take something else. Her question was, "Will the thief return?"

 

Our movable possessions are shown by the 2nd house of the chart, which here is ruled by Mercury. So Mercury signifies her lawn-mower.

 

Mercury is in conjunction – literally ‘joined together’ – with the Sun. So the Sun must signify the thief: the person who now has the lawn-mower.

 

But will he come back?

No! The Sun will not make any aspect with Venus, which in this chart signifies the client. No aspect: no contact. So the client can be assured that the thief will not return.

 

And so it proved...

Almost 4 years have passed since this question was asked. When I contacted the client to ask permission to use this chart on my website, she confirmed that the thief has not returned.
